Objective:   To improve our understanding of the performance of Keystone retaining walls

Research Approach:   Using the program FLAC, generic modular block-faced geosynthetic reinforced retaining walls, 3 and 7 m high, are being analyzed. Details of the connection stresses and other design considerations are under investigation, with the overall aim to improve the design procedures for such structures.
