Retired | Since graduation from U/W in 1957, John spent his career as a commissioned officer in the US Public Health Service. His assignments included being loaned to the National Park Service in Mississippi and the Oregon State Board of Health, but most of his 27 years active duty was in Rockville, MD with the radiological health activities of the USPHS. He retired in 1984. With his wife he had several businesses [building Pan-Abode log homes, Baileywick Sailboat Charters on Chesapeake Bay, and Solomons Marine Towing doing recreational boat towing and salvage]. John and Donna Bailey currently live at Emerald Heights, a CCRC, in Redmond, WA. You may find his website at www.baileywick.org to be of interest. |
