Academic Programs
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering offers degrees for both undergraduates and graduates. At the undergraduate level, the department awards an ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, which gives students a broad-based educational experience, enabling them to address complex and multi-faceted civil engineering problems.
In graduate instruction, the department offers programs for a Masters of
Science, MS in Engineering, MS in Civil Engineering, and PhD in Civil Engineering,
with specialty areas in Construction Engineering, Environmental Engineering,
Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering and Mechanics, Transportation
Engineering, and Water Resources, Hydrology, and Hydraulic Systems.
