You are invited to the SM03 Reception on Wednesday, June 18.
Join friends and colleagues on this evening cruise on Lake Union
and Lake Washington. We will enjoy the beautiful scenery including
views of the Space Needle and Seattle skyline and of Mt. Rainier
in the distance. We will also cruise by beautiful lakefront private
homes. A light buffet will be provided. Beverages will be available
for purchase. |

We will board the boat from the oceanography dock on the UW campus.
The MV Kirkland is a 1924 ferryboat refurbished in 1996. This unique
vessel has 12' floor-to-ceiling windows and is listed on the National
Register of Historic Places. This special event is complimentary
with registration. Tickets for guest may be purchased for $35.

6:45 pm - Board the MV Kirkland boat
7-10pm - Lake Cruise
10:00 pm - return to Oceanography dock

SM03 Banquet
The SM03 banquet will be held on Thursday, June 19 in the Faculty
Club overlooking Lake Washington and the Cascade Mountains on the
University of Washington campus.
