We are looking forward
to seeing you in Seattle for SM03. Below is general information for
symposium registrants.
Location
SM03 symposium sessions will be held in Kane Hall on the University
of Washington campus in Seattle, Washington. Tutorials and industry
presentations will be held in Mary Gates Hall, 2nd floor (Rooms
228 and 234). The Boeing tour bus will depart from the Waterown
Hotel (see below).
Registration Desk and Check-In
Please check in at the Registration Desk to pick up your conference
materials and name badge.

Boeing Tour
If you are registered for the Boeing tour, please meet the bus
on Monday, June 16 at the Watertown Hotel, Roosevelt and
43nd Street NE, at 1:15pm. The bus will depart at 1:30 pm. Questions:

Tutorials
If you registered for one or more tutorial sessions, you may pick
up your name badge and materials at the tutorial room. All tutorial
sessions will be held in Mary Gates Hall, Room 228, University
of Washington.

SM03 Special Events
The SM03 Reception is on Wednesday, June 18. Join friends and colleagues
on this evening cruise on Lake Union and Lake Washington. We
will enjoy the beautiful scenery including views of the Space
Needle and Seattle skyline and of Mt. Rainier in the distance.
We will also cruise by beautiful lakefront private homes. A light
buffet will be provided. Beverages will be available for purchase.
The boat is a 1924 refurbished ferryboat with 12' floor-to-ceiling
windows. This special event is complimentary with registration.
Tickets for guest may be purchased for $35.
The SM03 banquet will be held on Thursday, June 19 in the Faculty
Club overlooking Lake Washington and the Cascade Mountains. The
banquet is included with conference registration. Guest tickets
are available for $40.
