Departmental Computer Support
The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department has some of the finest computer support staff on campus. They are ready to help you with general computing questions, including but not limited to:
- Departmental UNIX account information, forgotten passwords
- Office ethernet connections
- CEE-owned applications support
- CEE-owned hardware support

CEE currently runs two computer labs:
- More 001 Lab and Classroom
75 machines, 22" monitors, full software bundle
- More 320 Lab
16 machines, 17" monitors, reduced software bundle
Lab opening hours
Mon - Fri, 6 a.m. - 11 p.m
Sat - Sun, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
More Hall and labs are closed on holidays.
All incoming CEE students are automatically authorized to access the computer lab using their Husky Card. No food or drinks allowed in the labs.
Software is updated quarterly.
UW Student Software Licenses
Thanks to Student Technology Fee funding, all UW-Seattle students can download:
- Windows 8 Professional Upgrade
- Windows 7 Ultimate Upgrade
- Office Professional Plus 2010 or 2013
- Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac
All institution-owned computers designated for a student's exclusive use, such as classroom computers, student labs, and computers checked out to a student are also covered by this agreement. More information at UWare

- Suzzallo Library Geographic Information Systems (GIS) lab
In addition to having the necessary software (ArcGIS), the lab is staffed with individuals who have some expertise in GIS and who are available to help patrons with GIS questions, whether it pertains to using the software or finding GIS data.
