Virtual sessions

CEE hosts virtual sessions for prospective graduate students, including program info sessions, topical webinars, and admissions workshops.

Session formats

• Admissions workshops: Strengthen your application! RSVP to join the Civil & Environmental Engineering Advising team for an admissions workshop on preparing a competitive application for our online professional master’s programs. We’ll cover common applicant questions, including GPA, non-STEM backgrounds, recommendations, and your statement of purpose, plus what reviewers are really looking for. Bring your questions for a live Q&A.
• Info sessions: Program and research‑area overviews with faculty and advisers.
• Webinars: Focused discussions on specific topics.

Upcoming virtual sessions

Pre-major student

If you are already at the UW but not in the College of Engineering, your best source for advising is Undergraduate Academic Advising or the Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity.

Prospective transfer student

Every prospective transfer student should attend an in-person or webinar Transfer Thursday session before applying for admission.

Undergraduate Academic Affairs Advising offers general drop-in advising for prospective transfer students from 2:30 - 4:00 p.m every Thursday. You can virtually meet with an adviser by joining the Zoom Room below.

Prospective Direct-to-College student

Before you are admitted to the College of Engineering, your best source for advising will be UW Admissions.

For more information about what it means to be a Husky Engineer, you can also talk to an Engineering Ambassador, a student who can share more about their UW Engineering experience.
