Undergraduate enrollment at a glance

The CEE undergraduate enrollment for autumn 2021 consists of 326 students in the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) program and 51 students in the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering (BSENVE) program, for a total of 377 undergraduates.

BSCE admissions statistics by type of admission

BSCE historically had Upper-Division (UD) and Early Admissions (EA). Since 2019, admissions to the major have been through Upper Division Admissions (divided into interest changer and transfer students) and Direct-to-College Placement. BSENVE admissions statistics by type of admission

The BSENVE program, launched in autumn 2017, was a minimum requirement admission through 2018. Since 2019, admissions to the BSENVE have been through the competitive application Upper Division Admissions and Direct-to-College Placement. Upper Division BSENVE admissions are also divided into interest changer and transfer categories.

The Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) degree program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org. The Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering (BSENVE) will be eligible for ABET review in 2019-2020 following the graduation of the program’s first senior class.
