Mike Gomez
Associate Professor
Gomez studies how natural processes in soil can be used to solve big engineering challenges. By working with bacteria and minerals found in nature, his research aims to create more sustainable ways to strengthen the ground, protect infrastructure and reduce the environmental impact of construction.
