All departments in the College of Engineering participate in the University Honors Program. The University Honors Program engages a diverse population of students through a rigorous interdisciplinary curriculum that promotes expansive, innovative thinking and conscious global citizenship. Three types of honors tracks are offered within the College of Engineering: Interdisciplinary, Departmental and College Honors. If you are interested in pursuing Honors, contact your CEE Adviser.
All juniors, seniors and graduate students in the CEE Department who are in the top third of their class (based on both cumulative and departmental GPA) are eligible to join Chi Epsilon. This is typically equivalent to a UW cumulative and CEE major GPA of around 3.4, with at least 45 credits earned at the UW. If you did not receive an invitation to join, but believe you are eligible, please complete the request form for consideration.
