New CEE-Led Disaster Investigation Center Funded by $4 Million NSF Grant

New CEE Center to Work with Industry, City on Delivery Challenges

The newly launched Supply Chain Transportation and Logistics (SCTL) Center has partnered with retailers Costco, Nordstrom and UPS, as well as the Seattle Department of Transportation, to devise solutions to better deliver goods throughout the city. The SCTL is the first center of its kind in the Pacific Northwest.

CEE Alumni Tailgate Launches Giving Campaign

The annual alumni tailgate on October 22 marked the public launch of UW's campus-wide fundraising campaign "Be Boundless: For Washington, For the World." During the event, alumni were asked to consider matching Georgia Tech's recent CEE department campaign participation rate of 50 percent.

Satellite-Based Text Message Irrigation Advisory System Helps Pakistani Farmers Stay Above Water
